Hemen hesaplaHow do our calculation tools work?
Our tools are based on the relevant statutory provisions and the current officially announced values. For severance pay, the severance pay ceiling in effect on the date of termination is applied; for notice pay, the notice periods set out in Article 17 of Labor Law No. 4857; and for inheritance shares, Articles 495–506 of the Turkish Civil Code. Every result shows each component of the calculation separately (length of service, the wage used as the basis, deductions, shares), so you can verify the outcome yourself.
How should you interpret the results?
The calculation tools produce an estimated result based on the information you enter. In employment receivables, the reason for termination, the components of the wage, and workplace practices can affect the outcome; in inheritance distribution, a will, a certificate of inheritance, and the circumstances of the heirs can change the result. For this reason, we recommend reviewing your result with a lawyer, especially before litigation, mediation, or a distribution negotiation.
For employment receivables, applying to a mediator is mandatory before filing a lawsuit; in inheritance disputes, short deadlines such as the period for renouncing an inheritance can lead to a loss of rights. For detailed information about deadlines, you can read the explanation section of the relevant tool.
